Sounds similar to this:

No resolution, but the reporting user's last guess was that it had something to do with permissions issues on the directory where a job jar's bundled jars (such as the Nutch plugins?) get deployed by the JobTracker/TaskTracker.

Hello list,

as previously reported, I'm having some issues running nutch in
distributed mode on our cluster running cloudera's hadoop distribution
0.20.2+737.

the mentioned problem is:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: x point
org.apache.nutch.net.URLNormalizer not found.
at org.apache.nutch.net.URLNormalizers.<init>(URLNormalizers.java: 122)
   at
org.apache.nutch.crawl.Injector$InjectMapper.configure(Injector.java: 68)
   ... 22 more

To try tackle down the problem i've setup a pseudo-distributed node with clean vanilla 0.20.2 hadoop and the aforementioned 0.20.2+737 by cloudera.

running nutch on this pseudo-distributed cluster was successfull with
the vanilla hadoop 0.20.2 but created the aformentioned exception on the
cdh3.
This means to me, as mentioned in my previous email, that there are some compatibility issues with latest cdh3. This means, for me, "downgrading"
to vanilla hadoop the whole cluster, unless you have a better idea.

Does anybody have a suggestion about this issue?

TIA
