Hi Markus I managed to remove problems at lines 8, 13 and 17 by simply removing the blank lines, however I am now faced with the syntax error. Managed to find a possible suggestion which aim to fix this. Wondering if you could add any possible suggestions.
I have been using gVim to configure the crawl script and I am aware that text files come in 2 formats, DOS & UNIX. If I save the file in DOS format, then attempt to convert to UNIX using the following > tr -d '\15' < INFILE > OUTFILE I get an unknown command error at '-d' Having delved further into this it appears I can specify aliases in my .bashrc file, however having tried this I seem to be at the same stage and the configuration is still not correct. Do you have any idea what the -d is executing in the command?
