I would like to tank the people who took to time to read and to answer my post. All said, I still feel that the web application should be back again. I think it is essential for Nutch, otherwise it feels like something incomplete and in most cases, for many people like me, unusable. I've already sticked with version 1.2, that, I think, is quite good for my purposes, but as new versions are being released, will we still be able to have a search engine? I knew an liked Nutch since its version 0.3, about seve or eight years ago. But good thinks come and go. I just hope that I will not miss Nutch in the future.
