Hi,

I was wondering if anybody can help me on how to configure per-field boosting for documents on Nutch 1.3 and Solr 3.3.0. I'm not sure if this is something I need to set in Nutch or in Solr, but I want matches in the title to be ranked higher than if the match is the content.

The FAQ [1] mentions the properties query.title.boost, query.host.boost, etc., which don't seem to be available any more. NUTCH-858 [2] mentions that it is available again in 1.2, but not how to use it (again, the propertiesquery.*.boost don't work).

I tried setting the boost in the Solr schema.xml ([3]) by setting the boost attribute, but again, no luck.

Any help appreciated,
Thanks,
Elisabeth
