The integration of any patch into the codebase is a rather subjective
process with many usually conflicting points of view which need to be
considered over and above the actual quality of the patch as well as what
kind of contribution it actually makes.

When there is clear requirement from the community that we need something
integrated then these issues will be marked accordingly and whoever is
available to test and comment/commit will try their best to get round to it.

In short there is no simple or straight forward answer, it is a pretty
difficult thing to quantify.
