I have not built a search engine which enriches the underlying index with user-oriented MD, something like tagging which adds this functionality but have seen some that others have created. Firstly, I would therefore like to know how you intend to achieve the above before we talk more about Nutch? What we need to determine is under what conditions does SolrWriter.write (assuming this is the correct class and method) actually overwrite documents within the index. Right now I am not 100% sure but will look into it just now. Lewis
