Hi Raja,

Nutch is mainly used for crawling web pages, text and human readable files.
It can be used to fetch the binary content of a given url. There was a mp3
parser in nutch back in older versions but now its been removed. I am
wondering what you want to do in "image/ video search". If you want to work
on the meta-data available about the song / video, then that data can be
obtained by nutch and used for indexing. That need not require you to crawl
the entire corpus of songs and videos (which will consume lot of disk
space). I have never tried this before but I think it should work.

Thanks,
Tejas Patil
