Got it working now with 1.6 binary ...., needed the multisite module in Drupal for it in order to write the Link in the title to the correct URL instead of Localhost.
Now if we could upgrade this in order to use current versions, that would be great, but for now I focus on getting my site off the ground. When I first set up this with current versions and the Shema.xml from the nutch/mysql tutorial it would work, until re-indexed the core, so it should be relatively easy (when one knows what s/he is doing) to get it to work. I'll be setting up another virtualbox in order to experiment soon.
