Alexis,

Ignore previous - got it for doc-literal.

I guess it still leaves me with a problem. In the environment we have, the
process is invoked with basic auth credentials already in the HTTP header - we
need to pass those credentials through to the webservice calls within the
process.

I've had a quick look at SoapExternalService, AuthenticationHelper etc. What I
need (I guess) is a way for the invocation of a webservice in the process to
look at the auth headers from the process invocation.

If that [and I'm guessing it will) requires some new code (an extension) can
you give some pointer how/if I can approach such a task.

Many Thanks.

Martin.

Subject: Re: Basic Auth

You could find examples of header manipulation in the bpel files under
axis2-war/src/test/resources/**
Look for instance into:
TestHttpBindingExt_DELETE/http-binding-ext-DELETE.bpel search for
header="User-Agent"
TestSoapHeader/HeaderTest.bpel

For basic auth, there is a unit test:
axis2-war/src/test/java/org/apache/ode/axis2/EndpointConfigurationTest.java

The bpel used is:
axis2-war/src/test/resources/TestEndpointProperties/test-endpoint-properties.bpel
