Said helloWorld tutorial is pretty old and apparently not up to date anymore.

Services are not listed at /services/* anymore but at /processes/*.

Amir, this is an open source project. Please feel free to contribute to improve the documentation to make it easier to understand and more intuitive. For each ODE release I test the hello world process, and it perfectly works for me. So please, instead of complaining, please help us to make it more accessible for noobs. Thanks!

Hi Sajith,
You're not the first person encoutered with HelloWorld problems.
I'm wondering how difficult is to create and run a HelloWorld program!!

Since i'm still in the list, I always see people trying to run the
simple HelloWorld example!

I frustrated once when I failed to run the HelloWorld example,
and it seems everyone has the same problem.
It's time to ask what's wrong with ODE?

Any intuitive tutorials?
Any user-friendly solution?
Any working examples?

If you found one on the net, let us know.

Hi all,

I'm still trying to get my first sample in Apache ODE up and running. I'm
referring to the tutorial published in "
http://people.apache.org/~vanto/HelloWorld-BPELDesignerAndODE.pdf";

I'm stuck in the step 24. I was able to deploy the project, but when i try
to view the services deployed in
http://localhost:8080/ode/services/listServices, it gives me a* HTTP 500 *
error.

Herewith I have attached the project for your reference.

Apart from that, http://localhost:8080/ode/ gives me following results..

* Total Number of Processes in the System: 1 Total Number of Instances
in the System:0*

http://localhost:8080/ode/services gives me following results..

* WARN [ODEAxisServiceDispatcher] No service has been found!*
*

I highly appreciate your help

Thanks in advance
Sajith
