ODE is a BPEL engine. In simple terms: ODE can invoke WebServices, as
part of a Process Workflow, and
as such it can be used to orchestrate WebServices. BPEL processes itself
are exposed as a
WebService too, so they can be invoked remotely. You can find our more
by reading up on BPEL as well
as the ODE docs.
