Hi,

I am the Founder & Developer of a BPM Designer called ezModeler.
We have open sourced our product:
http://code.google.com/p/ezmodeler/

EzModeler is a regular Apache Tomcat webapp that can be deployed as .war
file.
It is basically a Browser based Designer, the UI is build with Open Source
Tool "OpenLaszlo". It has some different Diagram Types and you can run
analysis based on searches of shapes that you have drawn. It can be run
completely over HTTPS and it uses Hibernate for the Database Layer.
For remoting / RPC Call ezModeler uses Gson/JSON RPC calls.
ezModeler can export Diagrams as PPTs and SVG graphic.
There are missing some guides on how to use the Designer, however you
should be able to draw all diagram types and use the features as is.

I would like to discuss if there is interest in contributing this Designer
to Apache ODE as Graphical User Inteface for Apache ODE.

I am also the Founder of the Open Source Project OpenMeetings which is
currently incubating into Apache Foundation (
http://incubator.apache.org/openmeetings/) so I guess I am kind of familiar
with the Apache processes. However this is just a "first contact" to see
what kind of benefits and interest in such a contribution would be.

Let me know what you think about this,
Sebastian
