1. There is no specific versions of tomcat as recommendation. 2. I assume services mean business processes, in that case yes; processes deployed on older ODE versions should work seamlessly on newer versions. Though we don't recommend using ODE older versions when new versions are available. Kindly let us know what specific issues have you encountered in 1.3.6
ODE 1.3.7 release is round the corner with some library upgrades and memory leak fixes. It would help us to include any critical issues encountered.
