ode 1.3.6 asynchronous web service

Hi List,
i am looking for an example of asynchronous process in ode1.3.6. The one
which is packaged with the zip file does not have the implementation of the
services and hence will not work.
does anyone has a small test process for trying out asynchronous processes
in ode 1.3.6
any help is appreciated.
