There is a clue that the version numbers were actually 0.8.3 :)
Looking at your screenshots it looks like you really are just using ofbiz at the
time 0.8.3 was created. Opentaps before 1.0 is more about the CRMSFA and
financials tabs added to ofBiz. Since you seem to not be using either, you may
want to look into opentaps 0.9.5a and use the tools to migrate .8 file formats
into .9 formats, or just move to ofBiz release 4.0
Actually there may be nothing wrong with your version.
What ofBiz 4.0 (or opentaps 1.0.0preview) does now is when you hit the update
like you did is create an address entity for your warehouse. You may not have
your warehouse setup correctly. Have you gone into the Facility manager tab,
selected your "Web Store Warehouse", clicked on Contact Mechs. You should have
Postal address with purposes of "Shipping Destination and Shipping Origin"
addresses. If you have both, then your system *may* need to be upgraded.
Is there a "create return" link from the order manager when you view the order?
I'm not sure if that is in that old a version of ofBiz/opentaps, and does it work?
