I am importing an existing database with partyIds like P&G#1 and BEN+JERRIES
I assumed that the standard URL symbols would be illegal, so I converted '&' to a '+' and most other punction to '_'. However, the '+' sign gets passed to the bash script as a space. In other words, "P+G" gets passed as "P G" which causes obvious problems. Is there a list somewhere of what characters are legal (or illegal) so I don't have to make guesses about it?
