Jacques,

I hear you on the editing stuff... I much prefer the plain wiki text mode over the WYSIWYG one.

A couple of notes on general organization:

1. unless there is an extreme circumstance a page in the OFBADMIN space should not link to one in the OFBIZ (wiki) space

2. if the page from Pranay is to become a standard document going forward a few things need to happen: 2.1. the document content needs to be reviewed and related documents need to be searched for among the existing docs 2.2. wherever possible content from the document should be moved into existing documents 2.3. for content that doesn't fit in any existing doc one or more new pages should be created (in whichever controlled/moderated space fits best, ie OFBADMIN, OFBENDUSER, or OFBTECH) and linked to from all related pages

The whole reason we have more controlled spaces like these is so that the editors/moderators can do steps 1-3 above and keep those spaces more clean and consistent than would be expected for something like the wiki. In other words, if anything goes into those spaces a little more effort is required before it goes in than would be the case for the OFBIZ (open wiki) space.

I also updated the link to the old wiki to the archive :

About the Practice document and at large :
When you put code into a Wiki page it's better to surrend it by {code} tags (escpecially with xml or html, but true anyway). Actually I stopped to use the Rich Text mode. You invariably end up with a mess when editing large pages. I now always use the Wiki Markup mode. A little more to learn at start (not much : http://docs.ofbiz.org/renderer/notationhelp.action) but no longer any problems. For instance you can see the result of using Rich Text mode when you pass in Wiki Markup mode :(

I say all that because I wanted to clean the 7.c part but I gave up when I saw the page in Wiki Markup mode. Having code surrended by {code} tags avoids these kind of problems.

It's only my experience though...
