Hello Flopa! I'm also interested in the same topic. I need to install Axis in Ofbiz for the same reasons.
I'm trying to follow the instructions at: http://ws.apache.org/axis/java/install.html#Step1PreparingTheWebapp But I don't know how to proceed with the Tomcat embedded in Ofbiz.
