The type of category in a catalog is decided by ProdCatalogCategory entity.
For more details you can refer to DemoProduct.xml file.
Hope this helps.

Hi Ray,

In your newly created BK-100 category click on rollup and then select the CATALOG1 as the parent and today's date. That should get it how you want
it.

I svn'ed to the latest trunk version (Dec 21st). I intent to add a
category under "Demo Browse Root[CATALOG1]" and parallel to "Account
Activation [FA-100]". The structure is as below:

Demo Browse Root [CATALOG1]
- Account Activation [FA-100]
- Book [BK-100] <----to be added

As such, I specified catalog "Demo Browse Root[CATALOG1]" to be the
"primary parent category" of "Book [BK-100]". The details of "Book
[BK-100]" are as the attached image.

What surprised me is that the newly added category, "Book [BK-100]",
becomes the top category, parallel to "Demo Browse Root[CATALOG1]".

Is this a regression bug? Or I misunderstood something?

Thanks,
Ray
