Shipping Procedure...

Hi all,
can anyone tell me the how the shipping procedure is done i.e, how to get
the tracking number and the shipment label i have the credentials of fedex.
Once after generating the order(Approved) what is the next procedure or step
that i should follow to get the tracking number and shipment label.I am
using the version 4.0.
