Try compiling from the command line and see if it works. From the OFBiz root: ant clean ant
If it works there then it's an eclipse configuration issue. Regards Scott On 20/05/2009, at 10:09 PM, Torstein Hegbom wrote:
I synchronized the 09.04-version that was compiling with the current trunkfor 09.04, and got the same problem. Now, I am quite certain that the problem does not exist on my computer. Is it only me that has a problem to compile the 09.04 version when checkingout a fresh version using svn? My earlier version compilesjust fine. There must be some thing else, thanks anyway. So I thought I should get the most updated version of the source. To get the most updated version of OFBiz I checked out the complete sourceinto a new project in eclipse, and tried to compile, but I got thefollowing\ofbiz2\applications\content\src\org\ofbiz\content\webapp\ftl \RenderSubConteerror:renderSubContentAsText (org.ofbiz.entity.GenericDelegator,java.lang.String,jantTransform.java: 143: cannot find symbol : methodva .io .Writer ,java.lang.String,java.lang.String,org.ofbiz.entity.GenericValue,java .util .Map,java.util.Locale,java.lang.String,org.ofbiz.entity.GenericValue,java.sql.Timestamp) location: class org.ofbiz.content.content.ContentWorkerContentWorker.renderSubContentAsText(delegator,contentId, out, mapKey, subContentId, subContentDataResourceView, templateRoot, locale, mimeTypeId, userLogin, fromDate); To me this looks like a problem in the content-handling-logic, where theclass ContentWorker seems to be missing. I am certain that this is aproblemat my computer, but could anyone help me to understand what I should do tomake the source compile. Thanks. Torstein
