Sam,

Sorry it took so long for me to respond on this one...

You're correct, the original design did not take into account the language of the keyword. In other words, it was language agnostic.

If I understand your problem correctly is it that when searching for a specific string of characters that happens to match words in multiple languages then even if the user does not speak english, or is not searching in english, the products with the english keywords still show up first because there are more of them.

Is that correct, or is it another scenario that you're running into?

Hi List,

We are having problems with non-English search results in the ecommerce module, now perhaps we have missed a setting (I hope so) but we just are not getting it to return the right results.

When you are on this page - https://demo.ofbiz.org/catalog/control/EditProductKeyword?productId=GZ-1004 for it allows you to control the keywords for the product search but if you have multiple languages in my case per product there are 5x English product descriptions, 1x German, 1x Italian 1x Spanish and 1x French then when generating keywords the system loves English far too much and the rest don't really come up as relevant as they should - what I could fix this this is a keyword list generated per language type, does anyone know how to do this?

Many thanks
Sam
