I do it both ways:
for real time I use java to field the event and and save data to be read
later.
then I have a java service that reads he data through the datafile
component and calls services. I do this because there are problems with
the data I am importing like the money has a $ sign that needs to be
taken out, as an example.
in my example that I have been working on it is all simple method.
