I tried to validate in demo but the server seems to be down.

It is happening to me in a real instance, no demo data. But no fields seem to 
work. If I put % in the order id field I get no results. If I try to lookup 
Sales Orders or Purchase Orders I get no results. There are thousands of orders 
in the system.

I'll investigate further.

Can you please give us exact steps with search parameters used. Demo  
data has two orders. I tried searching by PartyId=DemoCustomer and One  
record was returned.
