Hi Deepa, I don't see that there is an easy way to do this right now. Date/time formats seem to be somewhat hardwired in and North American currently. Hopefully this will get cleaned up and centralized in a configuration file at some point when someone has a big enough itch to scratch. I'll try to take a look at this if I find time in the coming days.
