If need is to have something functional quickly then I would suggest you look at the code of the blog, like wordpress, applications then just post to ofbiz what is needed. the application would not be in ofbiz workspace. Like your login. But the rest of the application runs in it own space and database. I would then suggest that you look at the blog in ofbiz and how to add the functionality of the other blogs for long term.
