Hi Everyone
I've put together some documentation on Manufacturing that I think will be
useful.
The first piece is some process stories and a process overview diagram and
this is loaded onto the wiki here. http://cwiki.apache.org/confluence/x/MwPi
The full diagram is a bit difficult to read (ie the text looks very small)
so for ease of viewing and printing I've also chopped the full diagram into
4 smaller pieces.
The second piece is geared towards new end users and requires no technical
OFBiz knowledge at all and takes the user through some of the basic
functionality available out of the box. It's a 'Getting Started with
Manufacturing & MRP in 5 Easy Steps' guide that is free to download from
http://myofbiz.com myOFBiz.com.
I'd like to put a link to the new quick start guide on the OFBiz main page
under the news section but I'm not sure whether this comes under the
category of marketing or news so am happy to take some guidance from the PMC
on that.
Either way – I'd be happy to get feedback, comments and suggestions from
people on both of these documentation efforts.
By the way - I'm currently working on a complete ebook for OFBiz
Manufacturing & MRP targeted at for end users that should be available soon.
