You should care about that only from the POS (or clients at large) side. If, for a reason or another, the syncing breaks then you will find the Entity Sync Status to be in running state. To allow the syncyng to run again, you will then have a button at right of each line (or maybe only one) to allow to change the status to not started. This will allow the blocked job to pick things up and continue its work.

To avoid this situation follow the steps in the next section "Avoid TimeStamp 
issues"
