OFBiz 9.04 and OFBiz 4.0 are different versions of OFBiz. It is possible that there might be some bugs in OFBiz 4.0 which are resolved in OFBiz 9.04. I would suggest if you can switch to higher version then that will be more reliable and effective version to work on.
