Hi Chris, I have researched the auctions case. It is quite possible to implement auctions on top of ofbiz without modifying the data model. However it all depends on how far would you like to go :) Some of the services need to be modified or skipped at all. But in general no changes to any tables would be necessary, which means you could still use accounting OOTB for example.
