I have tried changing it to "non-serialized" but still it is coming
as text and status ID got changed to "INV_ON_ORDER".
please let me know if I am doing something wrong.

You have to create an Inventory Item for your product and set its QOH
(quantity on hand) to 10
Then set the "Require Invetory" flag of your product to Y

Hi All
I would like to configure the size of the stock. For example
I have a product 'A' and suppose there are only 10 items so I would
like to set this '10' as maximum items so that when ever user try
to order more than 10 item s/he get message that we dont have 11 or
more product available.
Please suggest how can i configure this in from admin area.
