While defining the view entity, you may use group-by on the field aka alias of the view entity. Then you can add condition in the bottom using entity-condition in the bottom of view entity definition. See the view-entity ExampleStatusItem in the /framework/example/entitydef/entitymodel_view.xml for partial understanding.
