The problem showed up when I accessed demo-stable and demo-trunk to
check some back-end apps' behavior. I was unable to access them because
of the problem, so I though I should report it :) Then at a later point
of time when I re-checked them on demo servers after Hans' reply, they
were working as expected. I didn't look into the cause of the problem
then, so I am not sure if it still persists, it might have gotten
already fixed :)

Could you please try to see if it solves your issue in trunk, I have
no explanation for stable though :/
I did also this change because else svninfo.ftl was reporting a wrong
revision (in bottom backend)
