Hi Jacques,
Thank you for your valuable response,
Regarding to the product stored in the Inventory with UOM "Kg" and
sold/ordered in different UOM "gm".
Reference to your reply, kindly find my feedback.
The record <UomConversion uomId="WT_kg" uomIdTo="WT_g"
conversionFactor="1000"/>
Exists in the "UnitData.xml" file && Exists in the
"UomConversion" Entity ==> (I checked Entity using Web Tools --> Entity
Data Maintenance)
The service "convertUomProduct" Exists in the file "
/applications/product/script/org/ofbiz/product/product/ProductUomFormulas.xml
"
But ..
UOM Conversion does not look take place, and this service does not look get
called !!
Usage Scenario -- Fail one--:
In "Edit Product" page ('Product' tab) -> "Measures" section , I set
the following fields as flows:
Product Weight = 1 , Weight Uom Id = Gram [g]
Quantity Included = 1 , Quantity UomId = Gram - g
&&
In "Edit Product Prices" Page ('Prices' tab) , I added the following Entry:
Price Type : Default Price
Price : 1
termUomId : weight: Gram (g)
&&
In "Inventory Summary For" Page ('Inventory' tab) -> "Inventory Summary"
section -> press "Receive Inventory" button
I did receive Inventory with
Quantity Accepted : 5
&&
In "Facility manager" app -> "Facilities" -> "Inventory Items" , after
selecting the received inventory Item just received above,
which has the : Accounting Quantity Total = 5
I updated the record with:
Uom Id : WT_kg
After that, When I order the product using : "Order Manager" ->
"Order Entry"
When set Quantity = 6 --> which i thought it is 6 Grams, I found the
"Order Items" as follows:
Quantity : 6
Inventory: ATP = 5 , QOH = 5 [1 Backordered]
Which means, the 6 in the Quantity was used as 6 Kg, and not 6 Grams !!!!!!
I am sorry for this long post, but i liked to be sufficient and descriptive.
Any suggestions, comments, guide line, descriptions, .. to what happened
here ?
Appreciating your help and Advice.
Regards,
Medhat
