Hi Robert, why not use EXT_OFFLINE as a payment method? This is for offline handled payments, so you will have to manually set them to recieved. Should be exactly what you are looking for. And its a probably muchnicer way than commenting out things in core-code ;-)

He can choose cash, when he pick the item up later (a few days after the order). But unfortunately after choosing "cash", the payment is set as received immediatly, but I have to set it manually when the customer comes to pick up, because it can be days after the order is set.
