Ted, I understand what you mean. Ofbiz has OOTB support for many business processes or may be we can say, there is not much that is not available OOTB in Ofbiz.
To use Ofbiz effectively, unfortunately we have learn business processes and then map them to various artifacts in Ofbiz. For accounting I recommend following book, http://www.amazon.com/Financial-Statements-Step-Step-Understanding/dp/1601630239/ref=pd_bxgy_b_img_y Thanks and Regards Anil Patel Hotwax Media Inc http://www.hotwaxmedia.com/ ApacheCon US 2013 Gold Sponsor http://na.apachecon.com/sponsors/ On Jun 6, 2013, at 10:49 PM, Ted Byers <[email protected]> wrote: > Is there an online resource that lets us determine what is available > OOTB, as well as what an accountant usually requires, so a rational > assessment can be made as to what, if any, extensions we may require? > I am an experienced software engineer, but I know almost nothing about > what accountants need from a product like OFBiz.
