IMO, when we use sql statements then for such conditions we use joins. Similarly, you can use static views to do so, in general which is as similar as sql joins. Please refer existing view entities to use for your conditions.
I'm not sure about the form widget should support it, as in java, groovy and ftls we use the static or dynamic views or iterator for such conditions. HTH!
