Also understand that the members of this community are volunteers in this project. So even if they choose to address a question like yours, they may find that there are time constraints in their personal schedule preventing them to respond quickly. As to your rfi, there is in current feature a direct relationship between an order and a workeffort (which is the underlying entity of a production run). So you could reuse that. But be aware that there might be some changes needed in screens, forms and services. Please elaborate for my understanding what you mean with 'the production follow up' and 'follow up addon'?
