Actually not all the people managing the ASF hosting resources are volunteers
http://www.apache.org/dev/infra-volunteer.html
<<The ASF Infrastructure team is made up of ASF committers, some of whom are paid
sysadmin contractors.>>
There are at least 3 paid sysadmins

I'm sure joes (Joe Schaefer) is one of them (the 1st one I believe), I guess gmcdonald (Gavin McDonald) is the second, I'm not sure for the 3rd. From
stats on solved Infra Jira issues you can certainly infer who.

I'm sure

FYI: One of the advantages of being a member of the ASF is that communities like ours can take advantage of the ASF's excellent hosting resources
for free. The downside is the ASF is in control of those resources. So we (the OFBiz community) are completely at their mercy when something needs
to be fixed. The people managing the ASF hosting resources are all volunteers, so things will get fixed when they find time.

Hi Jacques,
Create, that is better than nothing.
Not sure what you mean but sounds cool :D
Is there any status page publish the statue of official demo-truck, so we
can know when it is up and running?
If you know what I'm struggling against for months :/
To cut a long story short:
Here are the official status http://monitoring.apache.org/status/ (look
for ofb)
But the URLs to the OFBiz demos are no longer (like)
https://demo-trunk.ofbiz.apache.org
They will be now (like)
https://demo-trunk-ofbiz.apache.org
(see the dot between trunk and ofbiz is now a dash)
For now only URLs like https://ofbiz-vm.apache.org:8443/app/control/main
work
They all get to trunk demo (you can use it)
One day when the infra will deign to commit something ready (said one of
their team) we should get all our demos again
So it should be the next and last step, but there were a lot of last
steps already...
Keep the faith (trying here)
Jacques

Medhat
