Thanks Ron,

That is helpful. I take it that it needs no installation per se, but just
to run the STS executable in the sts-bundle directory. Right? It does
give me an error, though, saying that Plug-in
"org.springsource.ide.eclipse.commons.gettingstarted" was unable to
instantiate class
"org.springsource.ide.eclipse.commons.gettingstarted.dashboard.WelcomeDashboard"
Looking at the trace, it seems it can't find one or more class definitions.

Is that something to worry about?

I would also ask where I would find Subversiv, as I do not see it among the
software items in the install software dialog. Do I have to add another
repository, or am I looking in the wrong place?

I did find a lot of documentation that I plan on working through, but I did
not find an installation guide.

And, I would ask you about other software I can install using that dialog:
what you'd recommend, and what you think of the modelling tools and their
potential for producing up to date UML diagrams (especially use case and
E-R diagrams) for the latest version OFBiz.

Thanks

Ted
