Hi yes. Ofbiz forum is incomplete to me. There is no views and reply count. 
Avatars and emotions are also not there. Multi sub forum. Multi threaded view 
is also not available. And so on.

So I think it is easier to opt out to 3rd party forum such as JForum into Ofbiz 
component.
