Hi,

Mike from Hotwax Media mentioned I should reach out to the users mailing list to see if there is anyone who might be available for some consulting. I've been digging into OFBiz quite a bit, trying to get OFBiz setup for my new business. We're a distributor, and we want to allow suppliers to submit orders on behalf of customers (B2B), along with all the accounting and order processing that might go along with that. We need customers to be able to track their orders, and suppliers to be able to manage their orders.

From what I can tell, OFBiz should be able to handle this out of the box, but I'm just a bit overwhelmed with getting it all setup. I am a developer fluent in Java, but you know how it can be when getting up to speed on a new code base. That, and I'm running out of time here. I have it running on a server already with Postgres as the backing database, and I've even gone so far as to get most of my data configured. What I'm having difficulty with is getting the right permissions, roles, and relationships setup, along with purging some of the demo data to clean things up.

Mostly I just need someone to accelerate my progress through discussion, Q&A, and maybe a bit of mentoring; and I'm happy to pay for their time. I could probably learn it all on my own over the next 8 to 12 weeks, but would like to shorten that time.

What I'd be looking for is maybe a weeks worth of time to help me get on the right track.

Thanks in advance!

-Forrest
