It looks like it is too early for this kind of event.
I am currently setting up partnerships with small business consulting
companies in the UK, Germany and the Netherlands and gave this a try to
extend it into a small conference.
I went to the ApacheCon in Austin in the hope to do the same in the US.
However you have to realize that ApacheCon is mostly for and by Apache
people, not many other people will attend.
This European conference was worth a try, just to attract people outside
of the Apache foundation, will try again next year.

A latest update on the conference:
There, is a possibility that our largest customer from the UK will
tell how he is using OFBiz throughout his company.
We will decide May 5th 2015, so the next few days if there is enough
interest. So let us know at [email protected] if you intend to
attend.

Hans,
That is perfect. Great for target users and consultants now that the
SaaS is available.
Maybe you could look at LiveStream to spread your 'views and services'.

Hans,
Very good idea and initiative.
More needed now that the project & agile are under the trunk. Hence
BPM not part of the frame but very important in the flow of processes.
Marketing efforts needs to continue for a large adoption of this
great product vs the highly competitive cloud erp out there.
Great to know that social initiative is now part of ofbiz --
Twitter (others...FB, LN and G+)....

Hi,
Sharan and me are looking to have a mini conference in the
Netherlands the first week of June, for sharing ideas on the
following subjects related to marketing and the implementation of
OFBiz:
1. How to do an agile implementation process.
2. How to do continuous business improvement with BPM as
preparation for ERP
3. How to demo the OFBiz system to potential customers.
4. How to do marketing for OFBiz in western Europe.
We will present the GrowERP (http://www.growerp.com) as an add-on
to OFBiz for the smaller companies.
Let me know what you think.
Regards,
Hans
