@Vyom very good point - I tested 5.1.36 and after repopulating the database there have been no issues - thanks! I automatically assumed that 5.1.6 was a "certified" driver release but on closer inspection that release turns out to be from March 2008 according to maven repo ;-)
I have updated the JIRA issue and requested that a newer driver is downloaded via ANT - and I see a patch has been forthcoming already using 5.1.36, which is pretty quick ;-) Morten
