Thanks Shane,

I'll review it in details (including the Fedora link!). This will be quite useful and better than relying on individual opinions, at least as a start, individual opinions are always valuable!

Cheers

Jacques

Hi All,

As some maybe know I'm actively monitoring the OFBiz® brand on the
Internet, so sorry to annoy you with below trivial things, someone has
to do it.

I stumbled upon few cases I'd like to openly discuss

I noticed there are OFBiz related domains which are to sell, at least

http://ofbiz.com/
http://www.ofbiz.it/
ofbizdemo.com

I think it's not a problem because they are not really used. I'll simply
continue to monitor them...

http://www.ofbiz.in/ is a bit more problematic because it redirects to
http://www.antwebsystems.com/control/main without the "minimal fair
sentence" there. Though it seems clear to me that GrowERP is "OFBiz
Powered by", not sure the redirection is needed, legacy?

There is also the https://twitter.com/apache_ofbiz account which should
IMO discontinued since it relates to https://twitter.com/grow_erp (same
kind of redirection as above, the "Powered by" logo is used)

Finally the https://twitter.com/apache_ofbiz account is referenced at
https://twitter.com/jzb/lists/apache/members when
https://twitter.com/ApacheOfbiz is not. But I think it's not a problem,
I just learnt that this list is no longer maintained and was, according
to Joe Brockmeier <[email protected]> created <<just for reference for
somebody to create the list under the @theasf account.>>

Opinions?

Jacques
