Hi Sharan and Nikhil, I think Nikhil is looking specifically for the punch-in punch-out functionality that exists in other HR solutions which is a nice feature to add. Sometimes it is integrated with punchcard or fingerprint scanners.
Someone created an OFBiz based HCM system a while ago (I think it is abandoned) in here -> https://sourceforge.net/projects/o-hcm/ I believe the system is able to do these processes among other things. It would be a good idea to reuse whatever we can from it to introduce this functionality.
