Over the past months since July of this year, dozens of contributors have worked hard in their spare time to enhance and improve the OFBiz code base in various areas, or increase the awareness of OFBiz. Until now, these contributors - though having been thanked for their contributions - haven't been enabled to do more for the project.
I suggest that the PMC - in stead on primarily focussing on improving code and releases. - works on improving the the OFBiz community and invite (sans prejudice) these persons, who have been actively contributing (in mailing lists, to issues and elsewhere, like presenting at the ApacheCon EU), to get more privileges too. The latest additions to the ranks of privileged contributors were added in October 2015 and were (visible) OFBiz Community Members: - Gil Portenseinge, and - Wei Zhang.
