Hi Waleed, re: adding new payment method Currently there is no other functionality in play in r16.11 than through the WebTools component. If you feel this is an issue that should be address by the community of the project, I invite you to register a ticket in JIRA.
re: closing a period in accounting. Closing an accounting period for a specific internal organisation can be done via the TimePeriods function in the 'Setup' section of the 'Organization GL Settings' in accounting.
