I strongly suggest, if possible and you don't have a "End of Ubuntu Pro Support", that you upgrade your Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS installation. It's End of
Standard Support is in 3 months <https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle>

there is something specific i had to do to have the date picker display as this
installation was carried out a while back.
Could somebody please guide me on where to start the troubleshooting.
