Hi all, I'd like to share another progress update on the Manufacturing PWA effort and request feedback from the community.
In addition to the Production Run screens shared earlier, I've now created initial UI/UX designs for: BOM Management https://www.figma.com/design/1wantteXXUlzPRYev1X5gr/Ionic-8-Material-UI-Kit--Community---Community-?node-id=36313-1243&t=5yG89NEbeUgemZgH-1 Routing and Routing Task Management https://www.figma.com/design/1wantteXXUlzPRYev1X5gr/Ionic-8-Material-UI-Kit--Community---Community-?node-id=36278-5317&t=5yG89NEbeUgemZgH-1 I would appreciate feedback on the workflows, information layout, terminology, and any manufacturing-specific functionality that may be missing. One architectural direction I'm currently exploring is to build these as independent applications rather than a single large manufacturing application. For example: - Production Run Management - BOM Management - Routing Management - MRP Management Additional manufacturing applications as needed These applications would then be accessible from a common Manufacturing Launchpad application that serves as the entry point for manufacturing users. The idea is similar to how modern enterprise platforms provide a collection of focused applications that share a common navigation experience while remaining independently deployable and maintainable. As with the Production Run designs, these screens were created using the AI-assisted workflow described in my earlier emails, and the next step will be generating Ionic/Vue implementations from these designs. Feedback and suggestions are welcome. My goal is to build a clean, mobile-friendly, and modern interface while staying true to OFBiz's manufacturing capabilities. > > Looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions! > > Thanks > -- > Divesh Dutta > www.hotwaxsystems.com
